The rapid <strong>obsolescence of devices<\/strong> and the <strong>high costs<\/strong> of operating system <strong>licenses<\/strong> and office software were other factors that led them to conduct a market study to find the most suitable solution: <strong>desktop virtualization<\/strong> in the cloud.<\/p>\n<p>The key element in AMAVIR&#8217;s desktop virtualization (<strong>VDI<\/strong>) infrastructure is the open-source-based software UDS Enterprise.
