They were already working with <strong>UDS Enterprise trusted partner <a href=\"http:\/\/www.c2d.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">C2D System House<\/a><\/strong>, using their network-wide infrastructure, so they suggested to rely on this connection broker. \u201cWhen <strong>they confirmed they could integrate UDS Enterprise into the existing infrastructure in order to limit investments and avoid an interruption of network services<\/strong>, they were quick to make the decision\u201d, stated Stany Wyrzykowski, Managing Director at C2D System House.<\/p>\n<p>The ICT Service of this organization clearly see the advantages of VDI. \u201cAll departments of the administration of the PCSW and its facilities, such as the residential and care center for senior citizens Sankt Joseph, use desktop virtualization because <strong>the overall strategy is to centralize data as securely as possible and at the same time make location-independent and standardized working environments available<\/strong>\u201d, commented the Customer.<\/p>\n<p>Although <strong>the PCSW relies on Open Source and free software systems for its network and server architecture<\/strong>, only Microsoft Windows is virtualized as operating system on the workstations due to its quasi standard. So far, no applications have been virtualized, \u201cbut considerations are already underway, since UDS Enterprise also supports application virtualization and <strong>we could integrate the necessary vApp in the same VDI environment<\/strong>\u201d, added the ICT Service representative.<\/p>\n<p>C2D System House experts adviced them on the most appropiate components for their desktop virtualization infrastructure. \u201cWe have been deploying Open Source virtualization environments in our datacenter and on premise for our client for several years.
