In some cases, the only way to solve it is upgrading the hardware component causing the problems, but there are other fixes that can help to mitigate boot storms effects:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Power up virtual desktops in batches<\/strong> before workers start using desktops. In this way the number of simultaneous boots decreases therefore decreasing resources consumption. <\/p>\n<p>-Using network interface card (<strong>NIC<\/strong>) teaming. This is an appropiate solution when the network causes the performance bottleneck. It is also recommended to free up bandwith for virtual desktops moving traffic to a different NIC.<\/p>\n<p>-Make changes in the storage system. When <strong>IOPS storage<\/strong> is to blame, the issue can be fixed using <strong>SSD drives<\/strong> to improve performance.
