The integration of the UDS Client into the Praim Agile software is generating significant interest among our community. The possibility of accessing virtual desktops, applications, and computers available for remote use through Praim devices, or reconditioned computers with their management software installed, has been very well-received by the market. That is why it is not surprising that the most read article on our blog in May was the announcement of the technology alliance to develop this integration and create constantly updated turnkey VDI solutions.
As we announced yesterday in this post, the new maintenance version OpenGnSys 1.2.0 is now available for download. In our previous article, we detailed all the improvements related to the remotePC project with UDS Enterprise for remote access to physical devices. Today we will focus on the rest of the enhancements, which have endowed the software with more stability, security, and better performance.
The OpenGnsys team has announced the release of a new maintenance version that incorporates interesting improvements in remotePC, the project that allows remote access to physical devices thanks to the interoperability of OpenGnsys with UDS Enterprise.
The second maintenance version of OpenGnsys Espeto is now available. Release 1.1.1b includes important new features and bug fixes. These enhancements improve operation with UDS Enterprise to enable and manage remote access to physical devices from any location and device.
The students of the University of Málaga (UMA) are employing from their homes the same tools they use at the campus to follow their classes during the Covid-19 alarm state. Thanks to the Remote PC project with UDS Enterprise and OpenGnsys they can use the computers located in the educational center from anywhere . To facilitate access, another important development that leverages the great versatility of the UDS Enterprise connection broker also comes into play: the Moodle VirtualPC Plugin. Students enter the UMA Virtual Campus through any device with a web browser and, from there, thanks to the VirtualPC Plugin, they are provided access to a virtual machine or a physical computer.
