These options allow organizations to combine new public cloud platforms, hyperconverged infrastructure and open source solutions according to their needs. In addition, advanced functionalities have been implemented for OpenStack-based providers, including Huawei Cloud and OVHcloud.
Thanks to high availability in Meta Pools, companies can now manage their resources more intelligently. This functionality connects different platforms to operate as one, ensuring service continuity. If one environment fails, services are automatically redirected to another, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
In the area of security and authentication, UDS Enterprise 4.0 introduces support for the OAuth2 protocol and new multi-factor authentication (MFA) options.
Among other innovations, it highlights greater efficiency in the virtualization of Windows applications with the incorporation of advanced actions, such as load balancing between RDS servers based on predefined thresholds. A new OS Manager is also included that facilitates the integration of Linux machines into Active Directory domains, to simplify their administration.
The user and administration portals have been redesigned to offer more agile navigation, even in scenarios with hundreds of active services. The control panel graphics have also been optimized, facilitating real-time resource monitoring.
For environments that use Microsoft Teams, a system has been integrated that improves the performance of this tool in complex configurations, ensuring smoother operations. Connectivity has also been enhanced with a tunnel management system that simplifies configuration and reduces errors.
The user experience has been optimized by updating the user and administration portals, which achieves more efficient loading of services. In addition, the graphics on the control panel have been renewed. These improvements allow for more fluid management even with hundreds of active services.
For greater efficiency in resource management, UDS Enterprise 4.0 introduces advanced functions such as returning used machines to the cache, eliminating duplicate machines, and soft-shutting down desktops on compatible providers.
Finally, new tools have been added such as “Notifiers,” which send system alerts through external methods such as email or Telegram, and an improved token management system, which simplifies version and operating system control.
