Virtual Cable, a leading company in the development of Smart Digital Workplace solutions, announced significant updates to its UDS Enterprise 4.0 solution at Tech Show Madrid 2025. This new minor release expands compatibility with new virtualization platforms and the latest versions of existing ones, strengthening its ecosystem of interoperability, security, and performance.
Key improvements in this update include:
- Integration with HPE Morpheus Software: Enables the management and automation of virtual desktops and applications in multi-hypervisor hybrid environments from a single console, simplifying administration and increasing the efficiency of the digital workplace.
- Support for Proxmox 9 and vSphere 9, allowing customers to take advantage of the latest features of these hypervisors.
- Integration with the Nutanix API 4, with Nutanix Ready certification, ensuring full interoperability with the latest versions of Nutanix AOS, AHV, and Prism Central.
- Compatibility with the Thincast connection client for Linux and macOS. Based on FreeRDP, it significantly improves the ability to redirect devices, such as cameras, audio terminals, or drives.
“Each update to UDS Enterprise reflects our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement,” says Javier González, Technical Director of Virtual Cable. “We work to ensure that customers can use the latest versions of the most cutting-edge platforms and technologies, with the flexibility to choose the environment that best suits their needs, thus guaranteeing a modern, agile virtualization experience aligned with the most advanced market standards.”
These advancements complement those already announced by Virtual Cable in cloud and security environments, such as support for Grupo Aire’s OASIX, Google Cloud Solution Qualification certification, and certification from the National Cryptologic Center (CCN), which recognizes UDS Enterprise as the only VDI solution certified within the National Security Framework (ENS) and guarantees the highest standards of protection and regulatory compliance.
