The oVirt development team has released moVirt, a mobile application for oVirt users to manage their data center.
This app complements the web dashboard and has three main features:
-Monitoring the virtual machine health, such as Memory/CPU use, status and events
–SPICE & VNC integration
-It bridges the physical world of servers with oVirt virtual world using augmented reality techniques that allows to scan data matrix codes located on servers.
Other outstanding UDS Enterprise’s new version innovation is that it does not require Java to access virtual or remote desktops, vApp or any service enabled in the system from any browser.
So far it was necessary to have Java installed for certain connections, for example RDP and NX. Administrators must have an updated Java version installed on all devices in order to get the best platform performance.
