SIMO Education 2014: The future of Learning

The Learning Technology Exhibition, SIMO Education 2014, has opened this morning at Feria de Madrid. 125 companies and 200 speakers will show new developments and ICT solutions for the classroom until next Saturday.

The innovations of this edition include virtual classrooms, learning stimulation programmes, virtual reality headsets, interactive projectors, educational robotics or accessible devices for students with visual disabilities.

For the second consecutive year, SIMO Educación, in collaboration with Educación 3.0, has organised the Education Innovation Awards in recognition of the work carried out by the professionals and entities that promote the development and implementation of ICT solutions in the Education Sector. VirtualCable and Jaén University take part in this awards in the Best Platform ranking with the project Virtual Desktops, developed thanks to UDS Enterprise VDI connection broker. This initiative has provided the University benefits in management, cost savings, availability, flexibility and accessibility.
