This new option complements the existing named-user model, allowing each organization to choose the option that best suits its operational and budgetary needs.
What is concurrent licensing?
With this model, licenses are not assigned to specific users, but are shared among all users in the organization. A license is only consumed while a user is actively using the solution. When the session ends, that license becomes available to another user.
Key benefits of concurrent licensing
- Maximum efficiency in environments with shift work or occasional access.
- Cost reduction compared to the nominal model in organizations where not all users work simultaneously.
- Total flexibility: ability to combine nominal and concurrent licenses in the same environment.
- Easy transition from other workplace virtualization solutions.
- Same level of functionality and technical support in both models.
Ideal use cases
- Companies with shift work.
- Organizations with rotating access.
- Organizations with occasional or temporary users.
Recommended rates for concurrent licenses
- From 1 to 700 users: €78 per concurrent user per year.
- From 700 to 1,000 users: annual flat rate of €54,600 (equivalent to €54.60 per user).
In addition, the price adjustment for 50 and 100 user subscriptions means that for subscriptions below 150 users, the cost between both models is identical. This guarantees freedom of choice without price being a limiting factor.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
🔹 Can I switch from one model to another later? Yes. Virtual Cable allows you to migrate between models or adjust the number of licenses as your organization evolves.
🔹 Does the system functionality change depending on the licensing model? No. All UDS Enterprise features are available in both models. The performance, security, and support are the same.
🔹 Do any of the models have additional costs or require additional software? No. Licenses are delivered in a ready-to-deploy virtual machine format, with no hidden costs or third-party dependencies.
🔹 How do I know which model is best for me? If most of your users access the system continuously, the nominal model is suitable. If access is occasional, rotating, or based on shifts, the concurrent model optimizes license usage and reduces costs.
