The platform administrators can also setup an automatic login system so that their users don’t need to enter any credential thanks to UDS Enterprise IP authenticator, which detects the connection client’s IP address and checks out whether it has permission to access the platform.
UDS Enterprise also features the generic LDAP authenticator, which enables to register almost any external authentication system, like Active Directory, CAS, eDirectory, OpenLDAP, SAML…
This authentication system provides great flexibility, since it gives the choice to select the authenticator that best fits each project’s needs and supports the use of several ones at the same time. Thus, admins can choose the authentication system that controls the access of each user or groups of users to a single platform with UDS Enterprise.
In the case of connections to virtual desktops, administrators can enable splitted authentication. This method allows them to choose whether the system connects users with desktops through single sign-on, using the credentials entered in UDS Enterprise login dashboard or if the system assigns a specific connection user previously created by the admin.
This advanced authentication system is fully transparent to users, who only have to access any browser via web and enter the data set by the admin as required to access the platform. Once they enter, they find all virtual and physical desktops, applications… they need to work.
