The representatives of companies associated with @aslan and the Public Administrations Commission members have considered that this initiative deserves to be among the three most innovative in the category Technology and improvement of University services. In the first phase of the contest, the votes were in the hands of these users. Only they could decide which projects would go to the final. It should be noted that UNICAN Labs is the only one in its category that has reached the final that is not promoted or endorsed by a company associated with @aslan.
Once the finalists were revealed, the second phase of the contest started. Now all users who were registered on the association’s website before January 1, 2021, can participate. Voting will be open until May 19 and the winners will be announced during the awards dinner to be held within the framework of the ASLAN2021 Congress on June 2.
UNICAN Labs has allowed the University of Cantabria to continue teaching its classes normally despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. It will also provide a simple, efficient, and secure remote working system for the entire staff of this educational center.
If you are registered in @aslan, help us spread this project supported by our Gold Partner Lanmedia Comunicaciones to help other organizations fixsimilar issues. Vote for UNICAN Labs at the following link:
This is not the only initiative with UDS Enterprise that is eligible for an ASLAN Award. The VDI project of the General University Hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor is also a finalist, in this case in the category IT infrastructure virtualization.
