In addition to moving the Microsoft Edge Dev channel to Linux, they are also expanding the developer toolkit with WebView2 and the Visual Studio Code 1.0 extension, which will be generally available in the coming months.
Microsoft encourages users to provide feedback about this browser. As they comment on their Windows Experience Blog, “it is the best way to serve our customers.” They say the feedback they receive from both IT professionals and end users is critical to achieving their goal of “making Microsoft Edge the best browser for business.”
One of the suggestions that they have already taken into consideration is the development of the kiosk mode. “Organizations will soon be able to access the preview of this kiosk mode for Microsoft Edge.” This mode allows running the browser in Windows 10 in full screen and without extra options.
