The OpenGnsys Project has released this week a new maintenance version of its free and open application for the management and deployment of operating systems. OpenGnsys 1.1.1a incorporates interesting news, in addition to fixing some issues of the previous release reported by the user community.

In addition, it incorporates a new page that shows basic statistics of the organizational unit and on the “Computer Properties” page data from operating system sessions are reflected. Finally, updated documentation of the OpenGnsys 1.1.0a online basic course has been added.
The Open Source community in Africa organizes this week the I Open Source Festival in this continent. This event will bring together more than 800 people in Lagos (Nigeria), including developers, designers, students and staff from different organizations.
