The objective of these online meetings is to analyze the way in which the sudden and massive adoption of telecommuting, online teaching and collaborative tools is impacting organizations. As it is explained on the RedIRIS website, they’d like to “take advantage of this situation to join forces and share experiences of how we are facing this exceptional situation”. A scenario that will undoubtedly test the continuity of ICT services.
From RedIRIS they consider that it will be very useful for the entire Community that the different organizations share how they have planned the implementation of remote work, their experiences, their issues and the resources and services that they have made available to users: connectivity, security, tools, support, costs…
All those interested in participating can send their proposals to [email protected] until next Thursday, March 26. Once received, the video session “Experiences on teleworking in the coronavirus crisis” agenda will be configured. It will be open to anyone who’d like to attend. They will be held during the week of April 6 and will last a maximum of 2 hours per day, with interventions of around 10 – 20 minutes. Attendees will be able to ask questions to the speakers.
