In this current situation with a global pandemic which has highly affected socially and economically, one of the biggest changes in companies is the implementation of remote working.
Remote working has been the salvation for many companies during this period. It has served to reduce the effects of economic inactivity derived from lockdown. Many companies have seen remote working as an opportunity to invest in, and it could be implemented in many of these in the near future.

Students of the Chimborazo Higher Polytechnic College (ESPOCH in Spanish) in Ecuador were able to complete their IT practices during the time the university was closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic using cloud virtual with UDS Enterprise. The company developer of this software, Virtual Cable, together with its partner Lobo Brothers Technology, provided totally altruistic access to their VDI cloud platform in OVHcloud. This action is part of the initiative Open Solidarity, whose objective is to provide free technological solutions.
MetaRed, the collaborative project formed by ICT managers from Ibero-American Universities, held past Monday, October 5 a webinar where several educational centers revealed how they have equipped their classrooms to turn them into hybrid teaching spaces to face the new scenario posed by Covid-19.
