The UDS Enterprise team has published a complete video to guide all users, customers and partners when it comes to deploying their desktop virtualization platform with UDS Enterprise.

In a little more than half an hour, this tutorial exhaustively shows all the steps that need to be taken to install and configure all the necessary elements to deploy Windows and Linux virtual desktops with our VDI and vApp connection broker.

In order to implement a virtual desktop solution (VDI) at the Faculty of Informatics of the University of the Basque Country at San Sebastian/Donostia to provide students, teachers or any other authorized person, a space of to store their documents, applications and any other service that they need, a thorough study was carried out. The solution provided by the Spanish company Virtualcable, UDS Enterprise, proved to be one of the best solutions to implement, since it meets all our requirements and expectations.

Last June the latest Raspberry Pi model went on sale and, after learning about the launch, the UDS Enterprise development team started to work to ensure the compatibility of our VDI and vApp connection broker with this new version.

In order to guarantee the seamless integration of both solutions, we have released a new custom image of UDS for Raspberry Pi 4 based on Raspbian, the official operating system of Raspberry Pi.
