The first conclusion of the report is that due to the boom in cloud services, there is a need for multicloud orchestrators that reduce OpEX, optimize time to market and simplify migrations. At the same time, it is recommended to adopt the hybrid cloud in a flexible and agile way to facilitate adaptation to the change for companies.
According to the data in the report, cloud deployments will be consolidated as the main pillar where the industry will be supported. Therefore, analysts argue that in order to reach digital maturity it is necessary to evolve the technological architecture towards an IT platform that acts as an intelligent core and that allows the introduction of new operational and digital commercial models in a more dynamic way.
Ignacio Cobisa, an analyst at IDC Research Spain, said that “a holistic vision of the cloud environment is essential, which integrates all its technical and business components, orchestrated solutions of hybrid multicloud, multi-platform and in coherent architectures, with special focus on resilience and security”.
Walhalla opts for a drag & drop graphical environment, which allows end users to directly execute more than 80% of the functions necessary for the use of the cloud. In this way, it is possible to democratize access to multicloud while guaranteeing greater adaptation to the needs of the user.
To adopt dynamic decision-making processes, companies need data integration and orchestration services in order to obtain a unified view of structured, unstructured or semi-structured data. Therefore, “an orchestrator that performs these functions in a simple and unified way will allow the adoption of the cloud quickly and progressively, blurring the margins between private and public clouds with the “natural” adoption of the hybrid cloud”, concludes Cobisa.
