As we anticipated in our blog, last week, the TECNIRIS video session Experiences with Raspberry Pi in ICT services of the academic-scientific community was held. In this instructive online event organized by RedIRIS, Eladio Maqueda, Head of the Badajoz Provincial Council’s IT Systems, shared the details of their remote working project with Raspberry Pi and UDS Enterprise.

UDS Enterprise will star in the next TECNIRIS video session organized by RedIRIS next Tuesday, March 16. The event will focus on Experiences with Raspberry Pi in the ICT services of the academic-scientific community.

One of our clients suggested this topic, the Badajoz Provincial Council, who will share details about its project to deploy a remote working platform with Raspberries Pi and UDS Enterprise.

The prestigious @aslan association has selected another project with UDS Enterprise as a candidate for the ASLAN Awards to Digital Transformation Projects in Public Administrations. Our desktop virtualization project at Los Arcos del Mar Menor University General Hospital (HULAMM) is a candidate for the ASLAN Awards to Digital Transformation Projects in Public Administrations. Thanks to its commitment to VDI technology with UDS Enterprise, this hospital could react quickly to the state of alarm’s declaration due to the pandemic and send all professionals who could carry out their tasks remotely to work from home.

They were also able to help the Murcian Health Service (SMS) provide this service to Pharmacology, Oncology, Hematology, and Microbiology, the unit responsible for analyzing PCR. In total, hundreds of professionals distributed by different public hospitals in the Region of Murcia work remotely using virtual desktops or remotely accessing hospital computers with UDS Enterprise.
