The UDS Enterprise team has published a new guide to help admins with the installation of our VDI connection broker free trial versions on one of the most used virtualizatuion platforms.
UDS Enterprise 2.1 incorporates support for OpenStack Ocata. Until now, the UDS Enterprise VDI connection broker has been compatible with previous versions of this cloud orchestrator. The UDS Enterprise development team, faithful to its commitment to ensuring compatibility with the most current technologies, has made the appropriate adjustments in our software to make it work properly with OpenStack Ocata. Our team is already working to offer support for the latest stable version, baptized as Pike.
UDS Enterprise VDI connection broker allows you to register multiple Service Providers and use them simultaneously. It supports the vast majority of hypervisor platforms of the market as well as Microsoft RDS for the virtualization of application sessions. Another of these Service Providers is “Static IP Machine Provider“, which has incorporated interesting features in the latest stable version of UDS Enterprise.
In May of this year 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will enter into force, which will be mandatory in all countries of the European Union. This new regulation will affect all companies, located in Europe or doing business in the EU, that handle personal information of any kind. Failure to comply with these regulations will be penalized with fines reaching up to 20 million euros.
In addition to PCs, laptops, smartphones or tablets, the UDS Enterprise VDI connection broker supports Thin Clients as connection clients, thus optimizing the costs of a VDI infrastructure, as it is usually a cheaper option.
