The largest Open Source foundation in the world, Apache Software Foundation (ASF) has announced that all its projects will be integrated into GitHub. In 2016, they began integrating GitHub’s repositories and tools with their own services. Once this integration has been consolidated, they decided to go a step further and move all their projects from Git to GitHub.
Facebook has released F14 , one of the tools it uses to manage the enormous amount of data that the social network moves daily. It is a hash table developed in C + + programming language, which is already available in Folly, the Open Source component library of the social network.
FireEye has released an Open Source tool to automate the analysis of SWF files in Flash. It’s called FLASHMINGO and it enables analysts to triage suspicious Flash samples and investigate them further with minimal effort. It can be both integrated into various analysis workflows as a stand-alone application or can be used as a powerful library.
