Linus Torvalds has announced the release of a new version of Linux. The kernel version 5.10 is LTS (Long Term Support), which means that it will be maintained for at least five years. Among all the changes introduced in this new release, there are a lot of performance improvements. Regarding processors, performance support for AMD Zen 3 is included with other Linux performance additions and mremap performance is much more snappy on ARM64 hardware.
UDS Enterprise 3.0 has already been certified Nutanix Ready AHV Integrated for Desktop Virtualization. This distinction verifies the full compatibility of the new version of the popular connection broker with the Nutanix Acropolis hypervisor (AOS 5.15). Likewise, UDS Enterprise has also been validated for VDI deployments with VMware’s ESXi hypervisor and AOS 5.15.
