A few days ago, we talked about the Remote PC project presented during the RedIRIS Working Groups in Santander. In this article, we focus on how to configure UDS Enterprise to allow remote access to PCs.

As usual, the RedIRIS Technical Conference held in Santander last June was preceded by the Working Groups, in which computer and network service providers from the institutions affiliated to RedIRIS have participated, in order to exchange information and experiences. For some years now, our UDS Enterprise VDI connection broker has starred in one of the manifestations. On this occasion, Ramón Gómez Labrador, from the University of Seville, spoke about our software as a fundamental pillar of one of the projects they are developing with OpenGnsys: Remote PC.

UDS Enterprise supports Citrix XenServer 7.x
UDS Enterprise 2.1 incorporates, among many other new features, a full support of Citrix XenServer 7.1 and 7.2.
The UDS Enterprise development team has worked to enable users of our VDI connection broker to enjoy the enhancements built into Citrix’s new Open Source hypervisor versions, such as snapshots, Proxy authentication, and better Scalability of XenCenter.
