UNICAN Labs with UDS Enterprise, candidate for the ASLAN Awards
The prestigious @aslan association has selected another project with UDS Enterprise as a candidate for the ASLAN Awards to Digital Transformation Projects in Public Administrations. It is UNICAN Labs, a platform developed by the University of Cantabria (UC) in collaboration with the UDS Enterprise team to provide remote access to campus IT equipment at any time, from anywhere and any device.
Remote working with UDS VDI for healthcare at the ASLAN Awards
Our desktop virtualization project at Los Arcos del Mar Menor University General Hospital (HULAMM) is a candidate for the ASLAN Awards to Digital Transformation Projects in Public Administrations. Thanks to its commitment to VDI technology with UDS Enterprise, this hospital could react quickly to the state of alarm’s declaration due to the pandemic and send all professionals who could carry out their tasks remotely to work from home.
They were also able to help the Murcian Health Service (SMS) provide this service to Pharmacology, Oncology, Hematology, and Microbiology, the unit responsible for analyzing PCR. In total, hundreds of professionals distributed by different public hospitals in the Region of Murcia work remotely using virtual desktops or remotely accessing hospital computers with UDS Enterprise.
New command to simplify UDS Server and Tunnel configurations
In order to further simplify specific configuration tasks and improve usability for administrators, the development team has added a new command. This is the UDS Command, whose options and functionalities can be consulted by entering uds –h in the UDS Server machine:
Access UDS Enterprise VDI with macOS devices through RDP
After releasing UDS Enterprise 3.0, the development team got down to work to meet one of the latest demands most requested by our user community: the possibility of accessing UDS Enterprise services through macOS devices using RDP connection clients.

UDS Enterprise subscriptions: New pricing policy
The UDS Enterprise team informs its community of partners, customers, and users that we have modified the pricing policy for our software subscriptions. As you can see, these changes are already reflected on the pricing section of our website. As an exception, and to help all those who are about to implement UDS Enterprise in their organization, the new prices will be applied as of March 1, 2021, for all of you who are part of our community and are registered on our website
