UDS Enterprise 2.2.1 achieves Nutanix Ready certification for VDI
The latest version of our VDI and vApp connection broker, UDS Enterprise 2.2.1, has achieved Nutanix Ready AHV INTEGRATED certification for desktop virtualization.
Previous versions of our software also obtained this distinction, which endorses the perfect integration and interoperability of our software with Nutanix Acropolis (AHV) hypervisor.

Virtualization of IT classrooms at Public University of Navarra
The University of the Balearic Islands was not the only educational organization that wanted to share with all the attendees at RedIRIS Technical Conference their experience with the UDS Enterprise connection broker for deploying and managing their desktop virtualization project. The Public University of Navarra (UPNA) also explained how they approached the implementation of VDI, in his case with the UDS Enterprise + Nutanix joint solution.
Simplifying and centralizing IT management with VDI

This was the starting point of the interesting presentation offered by Xavier Pons, Head of the Infrastructure Area of the Information Technology Centre of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), at the RedIRIS Technical Conference held in Seville at the end of past May. He narrated the experience of the Information Technology Center (ITC) of the UIB in the management of their VDI platform, which has helped them to tackle the complexity of a heterogeneous and complex IT environment.
